An Indian woman opposes the release of her convicted rapists.

An Indian Muslim woman who was gang-raped in 2002 has petitioned the government to change its mind and not let the 11 men who committed the rape, who were given life sentences, go free.
The victim, who is now in her forties, was pregnant when she was viciously gang-raped in Gujarat, a state in western India, in 2002. Gujarat was the scene of the worst religious riots India has seen since gaining independence from Britain in 1947, which claimed over 1,000 lives, largely of Muslims.
