Jim is a certain bidder if the club is for sale, he told The Times.
We would be interested in discussing from the position of long-term ownership if anything like this were conceivable, he continued.
This isn’t about spending or not spending money; Jim is looking at what can be done now, and given how important the club is to the community, it seems like a good moment to reset, he concluded.
This corresponds with Manchester United supporters’ assaults on the club’s owners, the Glazer family, after they repeatedly requested their removal owing to the team’s fall in performance and mismanagement throughout the transfer market.
