Two workers injured in explosion at defense factory in Serbia

According to Serbian media, two female workers were hurt in an explosion Monday at the Krusic defence facility in Valjevo, western Serbia.
According to the Russia Today website, the television also stated that a 40-year-old worker was gravely injured as a result of the explosion of a Ka-34 capsule in her hands, and that she was taken to a city hospital. The second worker was standing near the explosion site and had less serious injuries.

An inquiry into the circumstances of the accident is presently ongoing.
The Krucek facility in Valevo, 100 kilometres southwest of Belgrade, is one of the country’s main defence factories.
