The 30-year-old died on Friday on the Alpine summit road to the Aiguille du Peigne (a mountain in France), according to the British tabloid Daily Mail.
The couple were at an altitude of roughly 3,048 metres, travelling from Aiguille de Peigne (3,192 metres) to the nearby top of Aiguille du Midi (3,842 metres), according to the report, while the exact circumstances of the fall were unknown.
