Iran will offer its final suggestions on the nuclear deal before midnight.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian indicated on Monday that his nation will send its final proposals for reviving the nuclear accord to the European Union by midnight, just days after presenting Tehran and Washington with a final text formula after months of debate.

Amir Abdollahian was quoted as stating during a meeting with media at the ministry’s headquarters, “The American side has verbally agreed to two offers to Iran, and we will deliver our final recommendations by midnight, equal to 19:30 GMT.”

While the nature of these two proposals was not specified, the minister clarified that they (the approval) must be converted into a text, as well as flexibility in one (third) subject, and emphasised that the coming days are critical if our proposals are approved, we are ready to complete and announce the agreement. during a foreign ministers’ meeting

The 2015 agreement negotiated between Tehran and six major international powers enabled sanctions to be eased in exchange for Iran limiting its nuclear activity and keeping the programme peaceful.
However, during the administration of its former president, Donald Trump, the US unilaterally withdrew from it, reimposing punitive sanctions on Iran, which responded by progressively withdrawing from the majority of its obligations.

Iran and the other signatories to the agreement (France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, and China) started discussions in April 2021 to resuscitate it, but it was interrupted for the first time in June of that year. After restarting in November, it has been postponed again since mid-March, with disagreements between Washington and Tehran persisting despite substantial progress toward an agreement.

The two sides met for two days in late June in Doha under European coordination, but no significant progress was made.
The discussions resumed in early August in Vienna, with the US taking an indirect role.
The European Union announced on August 8 that it had delivered a settlement formula to the two key parties, Tehran and Washington, and is expecting their prompt response.
There is no room for compromise any longer. We’ve reached the end of the drought.

So make your decision: yes or no. We anticipate that all participants will make their decision quickly. Peter Stano, spokeswoman for the EU’s foreign policy chief, told reporters on the 9th of this month.

Iran will submit its last proposals on the nuclear accord before midnight.
