Iran: Another step toward closer relations with Kuwait

The arrival of the new Kuwaiti ambassador to Tehran, according to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani, has resulted in a new development in Iranian-Kuwaiti relations.

Kanaani stated during a press conference that there has been a new development in the path of closer cooperation and Iranian-Kuwaiti relations, with bilateral diplomatic relations reaching the level of ambassadors, noting that relations between the two countries have always been friendly and based on mutual respect.
He believes that this action would open the road for further coordination between Iran and its neighbours in the region.

Abdullah Al-Munaikh, the new Kuwaiti ambassador to Tehran, presented his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian on Saturday.

Iran takes another move toward closer ties with Kuwait.
