One person was killed on Sunday in a single-vehicle collision on SH25A in Coromandel.
According to a statement from Fire and Emergency, they were informed of the incident in Hikuai at 7:27 p.m.
The solitary person died there, according to police.
With detours at Kopu to the south and State Highway 25 to the north, the Kopu-Hikuai Road is still closed.
