The Russian and Turkish presidents, Vladimir Putin, did not discuss matters pertaining to the Turkish Bayraktar drones, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
When asked by media if collaboration in the production or supply of Turkish drones to Russia was mentioned during the two presidents’ Friday meeting in Sochi, Peskov replied, “No.”
It is noteworthy that in the wake of the previous meeting between the Russian and Turkish leaders in Tehran on July 19, some Turkish media reported that they had discussed “cooperation in the field of manufacturing “Bayraktar” aircraft on Russian soil”, allegedly.
