What’s in your baggage? “A bomb”. Airport evacuated but it was a joke, arrested

The protagonist at Copenhagen’s international airport is the coach of the Swedish national under-18 handball team, who afterwards apologises. But it was too late.
The Swedish handball coach has officially apologised for the evacuation of Copenhagen International Airport’s Terminal 2 on Friday morning. When asked what was in his luggage at check-in, the man replied: a bomb. The alarm went off a few seconds later, and the whole airport was evacuated while police assessed the questionable cargo.

The airport reopened to the public once it was determined that the luggage contained nothing threatening, but the guy, who was travelling as a member of the Swedish handball organisation, was detained. In addition to being unable to travel to Montenegro with the Swedish U-18 national team for a competition, the man has been suspended from his position in the national handball association.

In a statement posted on the website of his training squad, nnereds, the coach stated, “I absolutely lost my judgement in that brief minute and I laughed about something you shouldn’t joke about, especially not in that setting.” I’d want to apologise to my national team, the federation, the airport workers, and everyone else involved in this. I recognise the gravity and folly of my actions.

I am also willing to serve whatever term and learn from it in order to go forward.
Despite his release, the individual is still being investigated in Denmark for the event.
